How the Verona Card works

  1. Book online

You choose your visit date and duration and pay on Tiqets. The voucher arrives by email straight away. You can cancel free of charge until the day before.

  2. Exchange it at the Tourist Office

In Verona you swap the voucher for the card at the Tourist Office at Via Leoncino 61. The office is on Piazza Bra, two minutes from the Arena.

  3. The clock starts at first use

The 24 or 48 hours run from your first museum or your first bus ride. At every ticket desk and on every bus you hold the card to the reader.

With the card, the Tourist Office also gives you the official booklet with a city map. The Tiqets audio guide runs as an app on your phone and covers the old town and Lake Garda.

Book Verona Card 24h from €39
One day with 4 stops around Piazza Bra. It gets tight if you only manage the Arena and one museum: then the 24h card barely pays off. With two days the numbers look better.

Book Verona Card 48h from €44
Two days with the Arena, Juliet’s House, Torre dei Lamberti, Castelvecchio, Teatro Romano and the four large churches. The 48h card costs only €5 more than the 24h card, which is why most visitors choose it. Leave Monday out of your plan: the Arena and the city museums are closed that day.
Before you buy

Who the card pays off for

A good fit if you …

  • want to see the inside of the Arena without queuing at the ticket office,
  • can fit in Juliet’s House, the Torre dei Lamberti and one or two museums besides the Arena,
  • take the bus into the centre from the station or your hotel,
  • stay two days in Verona and don’t want to pay again at every ticket desk.

Less worth it if …

  • your only day is a Monday: the Arena and most city museums are closed then,
  • you walk everywhere and only want to visit the Arena,
  • you want a sightseeing bus tour: it isn’t included, there is only a discount,
  • you travel with children: under-18s get into the city museums for free anyway.
Quick answers

What to know before you buy

Five points visitors most often want to clear up before booking.

Cancellation Can I cancel for free?

Yes. On Tiqets you can cancel the Verona Card free of charge until the day before your visit date and get the full price back. Once you have exchanged the voucher for the card, that is no longer possible.

Pickup Where do I get the card in Verona?

You exchange the voucher from the email for the card at the Tourist Office IAT at Via Leoncino 61. The office is on Piazza Bra next to the Arena and is open daily except 25 December and 1 January.

  • Address and map:
Time slot Do I need to book for Juliet’s House?

Yes. For the Casa di Giulietta you need a time slot even with the card. You book it free of charge on verona.coopculture.it and choose the Verona Card option. You visit all other sights without a reservation during opening hours.

Monday What is open on Mondays?

On Mondays the Arena and most city museums are closed, such as Castelvecchio, the Teatro Romano and the Fresco Museum. The Casa di Giulietta is open in the afternoon, and so are the Torre dei Lamberti and the churches.

Price Why does the card cost more online than at the counter?

Since September 2026 the card has cost €33 (24 h) and €38 (48 h) at the counter in Verona. Tiqets adds a digital audio guide, and you secure your date in advance with free cancellation. GetYourGuide and Headout don’t currently sell the Verona Card.
