Who the card pays off for
A good fit if you …
- want to see the inside of the Arena without queuing at the ticket office,
- can fit in Juliet’s House, the Torre dei Lamberti and one or two museums besides the Arena,
- take the bus into the centre from the station or your hotel,
- stay two days in Verona and don’t want to pay again at every ticket desk.
Less worth it if …
- your only day is a Monday: the Arena and most city museums are closed then,
- you walk everywhere and only want to visit the Arena,
- you want a sightseeing bus tour: it isn’t included, there is only a discount,
- you travel with children: under-18s get into the city museums for free anyway.
What to know before you buy
Five points visitors most often want to clear up before booking.
Cancellation Can I cancel for free?
Yes. On Tiqets you can cancel the Verona Card free of charge until the day before your visit date and get the full price back. Once you have exchanged the voucher for the card, that is no longer possible.
Pickup Where do I get the card in Verona?
You exchange the voucher from the email for the card at the Tourist Office IAT at Via Leoncino 61. The office is on Piazza Bra next to the Arena and is open daily except 25 December and 1 January.

Time slot Do I need to book for Juliet’s House?
Yes. For the Casa di Giulietta you need a time slot even with the card. You book it free of charge on verona.coopculture.it and choose the Verona Card option. You visit all other sights without a reservation during opening hours.
Monday What is open on Mondays?
On Mondays the Arena and most city museums are closed, such as Castelvecchio, the Teatro Romano and the Fresco Museum. The Casa di Giulietta is open in the afternoon, and so are the Torre dei Lamberti and the churches.
